MIND and BODY TRAINING

“I HAVE ALWAYS MAINTAINED EXCEPTING THE FOOLS, MEN DID NOT DIFFER MUCH IN INTELLECT, ONLY IN ZEAL AND HARDWORK.”

Charles Darwin

Train with Mind (Intellect) and Body (Physical) first, then, the Craft/Art will begin to Slowly, Calmly and unnoticed Emerge. Like wrenches, hammers, scapulas in other Professions, Mind and Body are the tools of the Actor.

You don’t work on the Craft, per se, you work on and with that which Creates the Craft. This way, “giving up and quitting is not an option. “Physical Outside In,” opens “Internal Instincts creating and strengthening Self-Confidence. The Mind and Body sends signals, what it signals is what and how you Practice and Learn.

You do this through Mistakes and Failures, you fire until the Mistake is made, then you begin again until you have turned it into a skill. Choose Goals that are beyond your Present Capabilities. Target the Struggle, then Reach, “Struggle” is how we learn  any Skill.

The Key ingredient is “PASSION and PERSISTENCE,” it takes Immense Energy to learn a skill, if you don’t love it, you won’t “stick at it,”  work hard enough to be “Great” at it. Learning is like “Building Scaffolding,” the more we Encounter and Overcome difficulties, the more Scaffolding we build, the more Scaffolding we build, the Faster we learn. Keep in mind, Memory is not a tape recorder, it is a         Scaffolding.

Daniel Coyle

‘Mistakes and Failures are the playground where “Success” emerges to maturity.”
